Hi Joe!
The Story Behind the Milestones
Joe, your LinkedIn is a great record of what Disney is achieving. What it's missing is you. Your deep expertise, your leadership approach, your 40+ years of stories.
The executives, investors and talent you want to reach aren't just looking for Disney news. They're looking for a real person behind one of the most iconic brands in the world. And that requires more than announcements - it requires a personal connection.
Below are two posts I wrote from a collection of your public interviews. They focus on your own personal experiences and wisdom. Post as is or use them as inspiration for your next piece.

I started at the Jungle Cruise in 1981. I was 17 years old.
The job was simple.
Show up. Learn the story. Deliver the magic. Watch the joy on people's faces.
That was it.
Recently I was in Toronto watching our crew members prepare to take the stage at The Walt Disney Theatre. Before that I was in Hawaii, on the ground with our cast at Aulani. Before that, dockside in Port Canaveral watching the Disney Adventure arrive for the first time.
More than forty years on, I keep showing up to watch the work being done.
Not because I have to. Because that's where the joy is.
Since 1955, we've operated with a very simple promise. Safety. Courtesy. Show-worthy. Efficiency.
I learned to live up to that promise on the Jungle Cruise boat and I’ve carried it to every boardroom, every stage, every ride, every ship since.
We only have one purpose — to create a magical experience that lasts a lifetime.
That hasn't changed since I was 17.

27 years into the cruise business, we know a lot more about what we're doing.
But the expertise that drives Disney Signature Experiences didn't just come from within Disney.
We've taken industry experts from travel, hospitality, real estate, entertainment — folded them into Disney, taught them the high-quality nature of how we deliver stories in an immersive way.
And that group of people is now growing other deep experts.
At the same time, we've taken people who started in our theme parks and sent them out into the world.
Shanghai. Tokyo. Paris. The cruise line. Adventures by Disney. National Geographic Expeditions.
It goes both ways.
The result is a deep, rich pool of talent that will service the entire company for years to come.
That's what 27 years of learning looks like. Building the kind of expertise that delivers on our one purpose — a magical experience that lasts a lifetime.
